The company received approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China on February 12, 2014, to construct its data center, which is divided into two sites: Shanghai as the main site and
Guangzhou as the auxiliary site. Due to geographical constraints at the Guangzhou office, the processes required for construction and management are significantly challenged.
To accommodate continuous business growth and reduce maintenance costs, it is essential to integrate the existing data centers in Shanghai and Guangzhou, designating the Guangzhou site as
the production center and the Shanghai site as the backup center. Additionally, it is necessary to upgrade the existing infrastructure and ultimately realize the architectural construction
principles and strategies aimed at achieving the goal of two locations and three centers.
Phase 1:
• New Guangzhou Data Center A
• Guangzhou VMware business: new, upgrade, integration, verification;
• Guangzhou Oracle RAC + ADG business: new, upgrade, integration, verification;
• VMware's hypermetro is implemented using VMSC technology.
• Oracle RAC and database replication technology are employed to implement database hypermetro.
Phase 2:
• New Guangzhou Data Center B.
Phase 3:
• Shanghai remote disaster recovery.
• Shanghai joins the overall framework, realizing the dual-site and three-center strategy with local duplex and remote disaster recovery.
At that time, the 3Par storage hypermetro case with the largest data volume in China.
Application of Oracle RAC in active-active storage.
The application operates continuously for 24 hours, with RTO = 0.
Major disaster, Shanghai Disaster Recovery Center, RPO=4 hours.
